These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to this website and to the Time Unlocked Studio application. They are provided by Time Unlocked Studio (operated by the owner of the Time Unlocked Studio brand; "we", "us"). By using this website, you agree to these Terms.
1. About Time Unlocked Studio
Time Unlocked Studio creates short-form educational videos about history, real mysteries, remarkable people and surprising discoveries, and publishes them on its own TikTok, YouTube and Instagram accounts.
2. The application
- The Time Unlocked Studio application is a private, AI-assisted tool that we use to research, produce and publish our own videos.
- It is used only by Time Unlocked Studio and connects only to Time Unlocked Studio's own platform accounts. It is not offered, sold or licensed to anyone else, and there are no user accounts.
- A person at Time Unlocked Studio approves each video, and the platform and visibility it is published with, before it is published.
- The application connects to platforms only through their official interfaces, with the permissions described in our Privacy Policy, and uses them only to publish our own content.
3. Using this website
This website is provided for information. You agree not to misuse it, for example by attempting to interfere with its operation, to access it in ways that place an unreasonable load on it, or to use it for any unlawful purpose.
4. Third-party platforms
Our videos appear on platforms run by other companies. When you watch or interact with them there, that platform's own terms and policies apply:
- TikTok: Terms of Service, Community Guidelines and Privacy Policy.
- YouTube: YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
- Instagram: Instagram Terms of Use and the Meta Privacy Policy.
We aim to follow each platform's rules, including its developer terms and content guidelines. We are not responsible for these platforms, and they are not responsible for our content or these Terms. TikTok, YouTube and Instagram are trademarks of their respective owners. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by them.
5. Our content and intellectual property
Our videos, scripts, narration, graphics, name and brand belong to Time Unlocked Studio or are used with permission or under a licence. Except where a platform's terms allow sharing, you may not copy, republish or sell our content without our written permission. Third-party material, such as archival images or quotations, belongs to its owners.
6. Educational content and accuracy
Our videos are for general education and entertainment. We research stories against sources and check them before publishing, but history is sometimes uncertain or disputed, and short videos simplify complex events. Our content is not professional, academic or legal advice. If you notice an error, please tell us and we will review it.
7. Use of AI
We use AI tools to help with research, scripts, narration and visuals. A person reviews and approves every video before it is published. Where AI was used, we label the content using each platform's AI disclosure setting.
8. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how this website and the application handle information, including information from TikTok, YouTube and Instagram.
9. Disclaimers
This website and our content are provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we don't guarantee that they will always be available, error-free or complete. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under laws that cannot be excluded, such as consumer protection laws.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website or our content.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use this website after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
